The SJ3232 E is designed for indoor and outdoor applications requiring compact dimensions and performance. It features a 91.6-inch machine length, 550-pound platform capacity and a machine weight of 5,850 pounds. The model offers a platform height of 31 feet, 7 inches and is drivable at full height without stabilizers.
The SJ5545 E is the highest working height model in Skyjack’ s slab scissor lineup, with a platform height of 45 feet and a 770-pound capacity. It features fully welded cross-bracing in the scissor stack design intended to increase rigidity and operator comfort at height. The machine is also drivable at full height and offers a two-person wind rating at 22 feet.
Skyjack stated that its E-Drive system is designed to provide up to 20 % improved runtime per charge, along with consistent traction, torque and gradeability above 25 %.
Electric Articulating and Slab Boom Lifts
Skyjack also expanded its battery-electric boom offerings with several new models, including the SJ45 AJE + and SJ60 AJE + rough terrain articulating booms, as well as the SJ45 AJN and SJ45 ARJN slab boom units.
The SJ45 AJE + and SJ60 AJE + are all-electric rough terrain articulating booms designed for use across shared indoor and outdoor environments. These models offer capacities up to 1,000 pounds and include features such as AXLDRIVE, SKYRISER and SPEEDYREACH systems. They also provide up to 45 % gradeability and are designed for multi-function capability and terrain performance.
The SJ45 AJN and SJ45 ARJN are compact slab booms with a platform height of 44 feet, 11 inches and a 500-pound capacity. Both models feature a narrow width of 4 feet, 11 inches and a standard jib. The SJ45 ARJN includes a rotating jib for horizontal platform positioning.
These machines are designed for maneuverability in confined spaces and can pass through standard double doors. Both models also feature a stowed height of 6 feet, 6 inches and a machine weight under 16,000 pounds to support transport efficiency.
Genie Adds Scissor Lift Accessories
Genie has expanded its lineup of scissor lift accessories aimed at improving jobsite safety and productivity for contractors operating in construction, commercial interiors and other congested work environments.
One of the latest additions is Genie Lift Guard Zone Lighting, a perimeter-awareness system designed for Genie GS scissor lifts. The accessory projects bright red laser lines around the base of the machine at ground level, creating a visible boundary of approximately 2 feet around the chassis. The system is intended to help workers better identify the operating footprint of the lift, particularly in environments where multiple trades are working in close proximity. According to Genie, the visual boundary can also help reduce risks associated with entrapment and dropped objects.
Zone Lighting is part of Genie’ s Lift Guard accessories strategy focused on improving operator awareness and encouraging proactive safety practices through integrated machine solutions.
Genie has also introduced the Lift Tools Integrated Access Deck, a productivity-focused accessory designed for the Genie GS-1932m and GS-1432m micro scissor lifts. The system is intended for indoor applications such as data centers and commercial facilities, where HVAC, electrical and plumbing work often requires access to tight overhead spaces.
The Integrated Access Deck adds an additional 19.7 inches of working height while surrounding the operator with a fully enclosed 360-degree protective rail system. When not in use, the deck can be folded down to provide more usable space within the platform.
