LiftPoint Patents LTX / MHX Lift for Material Handling Fleets
LiftPoint by Mohawk Lifts has been awarded a U. S. patent covering its LTX and MHX two-post service lifts and mast adapter system, a platform developed for servicing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
The patented lift is designed for warehouse, distribution center, and industrial maintenance operations, allowing technicians to service multiple types of material handling equipment on a single platform. According to LiftPoint, the system can be used with all five classes of material handling vehicles, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and automated guided vehicles.
The company said the platform is designed to improve technician access by providing unobstructed undercarriage and wheel access while eliminating the need for multiple lifting systems. An optional patented MHX adapter enables equipment to be elevated without engaging all four swing arms, which the company said helps
Yanmar Broadens Compact Track Loader Portfolio
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America has expanded its compact track loader portfolio with the commercial launch of the TL25RP, TL40RP, and TL50RP in the U. S. and Canada.
The new machines are the first additions to Yanmar’ s growing ASV Posi-Track compact track loader lineup and are designed for applications that require low ground pressure, flotation, and dependable traction.
The loaders feature the patented ASV Posi-Track fully suspended torsion-axle undercarriage and complement Yanmar’ s steel-embedded compact track loader offerings.
The company said the three models have reduce setup time.
The LTX / MHX platform incorporates forklift mast-style columns, direct-drive hydraulic lifting technology, and adjustable lifting configurations.
LiftPoint said the lift is ALI-certified and backed by a 25-year structural warranty. The company said the platform is designed to support technician productivity, equipment uptime, and long-term durability in demanding material handling environments.
The newly awarded patent covers both the LTX / MHX service lift platform and mast adapter system, expanding LiftPoint’ s portfolio of service equipment for material handling fleets.
been designed around the needs of operators seeking lightweight performance, reduced ground disturbance, and ride quality without sacrificing productivity.
The TL25RP is intended for applications requiring a narrow footprint and surface protection. The TL40RP adds horsepower and hydraulic performance for a broader range of applications, while the TL50RP offers increased lifting and hydraulic capabilities while maintaining a compact footprint.
According to Yanmar, the new models are suited for construction, landscaping, land management, and rental applications.
The company said the launch strengthens its compact track loader portfolio and provides customers with additional choices based on terrain, application, and operating environment. Customers also gain access to Yanmar’ s dealer network, factory-trained service professionals, and parts and training support programs.
JLG Completes SkyTrak Telehandler Redesign With Three New Models
JLG Industries has expanded its updated North American SkyTrak telehandler lineup with redesigned SkyTrak 10042, 10054, and 12054 models. The introductions complete the company’ s redesign of its SkyTrak telehandler range.
The new models are intended for construction, infrastructure, industrial, and material handling applications and offer lifting capacities of up to 12,000 pounds with maximum lift heights of 53 feet, 2 inches.
All three models feature a Tier 4 Final Cummins F3.8 110-horsepower diesel engine and a four-speed powershift transmission equipped with SmartShift technology, which automatically shifts between third and fourth gears.
JLG updated the machines with a new control system offering expanded diagnostics and additional functionality. Optional technologies include Load Stability Indication( LSI), which monitors forward load capacity and provides visual indicators, and Seatbelt Engagement and Operator Presence( SEAOP), which provides visual and audible alerts while limiting certain machine functions when operator engagement requirements are not met.
The redesigned cab includes a larger LCD display and revised single-page load charts to provide operators with more information at a glance. Flat glass construction is also intended to simplify glass replacement.
Additional productivity updates include an electric-over-hydraulic joystick with integrated auxiliary hydraulic functions and attachment tilt controls. Auxiliary hydraulic connections have been moved to the side of the boom head to help streamline attachment changes.
Each model comes standard with the ClearSky Smart Fleet two-way communications platform, providing connectivity for fleet management and troubleshooting. Optional features include a multi-view reverse camera system, reverse sensing with audible in-cab alerts, and a white noise backup alarm to improve operator awareness.
