JLG Introduces Upgraded 519 Telehandler
JLG Industries has unveiled the redesigned JLG 519 telehandler. An evolution of the G5-18A model, this updated machine offers enhanced features to boost productivity, improve operator confidence and lower total cost of ownership for today’ s demanding jobsites.
“ The 519 will be a valuable asset for rental companies, commercial and residential construction firms and independent contractors, like masons and homebuilders, working in pick-and-place applications that require precision handling of jobsite materials,” John Boehme, senior product manager, JLG said.
With a 5,500-pound lift capacity, 18-foot 7-inch maximum lift height and 10-foot 10-inch forward reach, the 519 introduces key upgrades, including an optimized load chart, advanced control system with Load Stability Indication and improved serviceability with 44 % fewer hydraulic components. Powered by a Deutz 2.2L diesel engine, it delivers up to 20 % better fuel efficiency.
The telehandler features a redesigned cab with optional air conditioning, a multifunction joystick for greater control and enhanced diagnostics via ClearSky Smart Fleet technology. Its universal skid steer adapter supports versatile attachments, while its compact dimensions ensure excellent maneuverability.
Genie Launches Six New Scissor Lifts
Genie has unveiled six new models of its next-generation slab scissor lifts, optimized for performance and a lower total cost of ownership. The redesigned GS-1932, GS-2632, GS-3232, GS- 2646, GS-3246 and GS-4046 lifts feature an innovative curved linkage design that reduces weight and replacement costs for key components like batteries and drive motors.
“ Genie’ s next generation scissor lifts are redefining the standard for slab scissor lifts and moving this classic MEWP category into the future,” Christian Dube, senior product manager at Genie, said.
“ Our priority when redesigning these lifts was to drive lower costs of ownership, improve serviceability and enhance the user experience – all while delivering the quality that our customers and the industry expect from Genie,” Dube continued.
Genie prioritized serviceability and durability in the redesign, addressing common issues like rust, deck damage and chassis wear. Updates include water-resistant chassis, reinforced extension decks and strengthened side pockets. Additionally, the lifts now feature a consistent parts layout and over 70 % parts commonality across models, simplifying fleet management and increasing uptime.
