Stellar Expands Hooklift Lineup with NXT24 and NXT30
Stellar Industries has expanded its NXT Hooklift Series with the NXT24 and NXT30. The additions are designed to support the evolving needs of industries using mechanic and service trucks as well as service cranes, offering new capacities and configuration flexibility.
The NXT24 model features a 24,000-pound capacity and is available in Short( S), Medium( M), and Long( L) configurations. These accommodate container lengths from 10 to 18 feet and offer adjustable hook heights ranging from 36 to 62 inches. The NXT30, with a 30,000-pound capacity, is also available in S, M and L versions with the same hook height flexibility.
This marks the first use of the S, M and L sizing convention in the NXT Series, giving operators a more precise fit for their specific application needs. Medium configurations are available now, with Short and Long options scheduled for release later in 2025.
Both models feature low lost load heights— 8 inches for Short and Medium units, and 9 inches for Long models— helping maximize payload while maintaining stability. Depending on local regulations, the NXT24 may be operable without a CDL, offering a more accessible entry point for expanding fleets.
A universal body latching system allows for flexible placement of bolt-on inside or outside locks, reducing the need for cutting or welding during installation. Roller-style bolt-on body saddles reduce friction and enhance alignment during container transfer.
To further simplify integration, the units include a universal hydraulic reservoir that can be mounted in different positions to avoid conflicts with other truck components. Soft-stop features on the lift cylinders allow for smoother loading and unloading operations.
Control options include cable, air, electronic joystick and radio remote control, allowing proportional and precise operation. The radio remote enables use from inside the cab or remotely from outside, supporting better workflow and safety in varied jobsite conditions.
All Stellar NXT hooklifts, including the new NXT24 and NXT30, are manufactured in the U. S.
Brigade Electronics Launches New Safety Devices
Brigade Electronics has introduced four new safety products designed to enhance operator awareness and improve jobsite safety. The products were unveiled at bauma 2025 and add to the company’ s established range of vehicle cameras, sensors and alarms for the lifting and construction sectors.
Among the new technologies is the AI Box, which upgrades standard vehicle cameras into human detection systems. The two-channel unit connects existing cameras and monitors, delivering real-time visual and audio alerts when a person is detected.
The Backsense radar system provides object detection at distances of up to 197 feet with a 140-degree horizontal detection range. It supports linking up to eight radar units and integrates via CAN Gateway, making it suitable for rugged construction environments.
Brigade also introduced a Thumbs-up display, aimed at ground personnel safety. The unit features an anti-glare screen with frosted technology to prevent sun reflection. It activates only when the machine’ s handbrake is engaged or hydraulics are locked, confirming safe approach conditions.
Additionally, the company announced a partnership with Topcon, integrating Brigade’ s Artificial Intelligence( AI) camera with Topcon’ s Opus B6 10-inch HD monitor. The system provides high-resolution imaging to give operators improved visibility of pedestrians and blind spots.
Founded in 1976 and based in Kent, England, Brigade Electronics has been a long-time innovator in vehicle safety systems, evolving from reversing alarms to advanced AI-enabled technologies.
JLG Introduces New Micro Scissor Lifts in North America
JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business, has introduced two new micro-sized electric scissor lifts in North America: the JLG ES1330M and ES1530M.
Previously branded as the ES1330L and ES1530L, these models join the existing ES1930M to expand JLG’ s lineup of compact, electric-powered scissor lifts. Designed for work in confined spaces and on sensitive flooring, the ES1330M and ES1530M are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications in commercial construction, facility maintenance and fit-out work.
These lifts are engineered for use in areas such as hospitals, museums, libraries and data centers, where tight access and low ground pressure are priorities. They offer a zero-turn radius for improved maneuverability and fixed rails that fit through standard doorways.
The ES1330M and ES1530M weigh under 2,000 pounds, making them compatible with freight elevators and safe for use on weight-sensitive floors. A built-in leak containment system is now standard to help protect delicate surfaces. The models also feature JLG’ s load-sensing
