SPYDERCRANE URW1006
Tadano eAA-22C
The Tadano eAA-22C electric articulated crawler boom combines performance with zero-emission operation. This model achieves a maximum working height of 28.9 feet and a maximum outreach of 14.6 feet, while maintaining a load capacity of 330.7 pounds for diverse lifting applications.
Powered by an AC 3-phase motor delivering 5 kilowatts of rated power and equipped with high-capacity AGM maintenance-free batteries, the fully electric eAA-22MC delivers performance equivalent to its dieselpowered counterpart but with clean, quiet and low-vibration operation. The machine’ s battery life allows for up to three days of operation on a single charge, based on standard usage of 15 cycles per day. The eAA-22C has zero tail swing, 360-degree rotation and a compact 3.03-by-2.52-by-3.61-foot platform that swings 90 degrees left and 40 degrees right, allowing precise maneuvering in confined spaces and including a hand pump emergency lowering system for added safety.
With grey non-marking tracks and low-ground pressure design, the eAA-22C is suited for both indoor and outdoor applications, including urban construction, underground work and tunnel operations. The machine offers three travel speeds up to 1.37 miles per hour, providing efficient movement across work sites. Safety features include emergency stop buttons, foot and enabling switches, auxiliary lowering control and LED lighting, making it a comprehensive solution for environmentally conscious aerial work applications.

The SPYDERCRANE URW1006 has emerged as a versatile solution for projects where high lifting capacity is required but site access is limited. Designed to combine strength with mobility, it offers a maximum lifting capacity of 22,350 pounds and a tip height of 104 feet with the jib, positioning it as the largest mini crawler in the SPYDERCRANE lineup. Its compact design allows it to perform tasks typically handled by larger cranes in confined spaces, making it useful for contractors in a variety of industries.
At the core of the URW1006’ s design is a six-section telescoping boom that extends from 19 to 76 feet, supported by multiple outrigger configurations that allow operators to adapt the crane to varying site conditions. The pick-andcarry function enables it to transport loads up to 2,200 pounds while traveling, which can reduce the need for additional rigging equipment and minimize downtime. Because of its crawler undercarriage, the machine maintains stability and can traverse uneven or soft surfaces, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor work.
The crane integrates a load moment indicator with a full-color display and wireless remote control, giving operators access to real-time information about load status and crane configuration. Built-in safety features, including antitwo-block protection, hydraulic holding valves and emergency stop controls, help maintain a controlled and secure lifting environment.
The URW1006 is often seen on projects involving steel erection, glazing and work in confined or obstructed spaces where maneuverability and lifting capacity are equally critical. Its compact footprint allows it to operate in courtyards and other hard-to-access areas where larger cranes cannot be positioned.
