STUDSON Introduces Eye Protection for Working at Height
Personal protective equipment( PPE) manufacturer STUDSON has released the Guardian and Watchman safety glasses, both American National Standards Institute( ANSI) Z87 + certified and built for construction, industrial and aerial work environments. The eyewear meets high-impact safety standards while offering optical clarity and comfort for extended use.
The Guardian glasses feature a wraparound design and multiple lens options— clear, yellow-green mirrored, black polarized and amber polarized— tested to ANSI Z87 +, Z80.3 and CE standards.
The Watchman line is suited for aerial lift and elevated work platform operations, with anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings, lightweight frames, comfort-grip features and a full-wrap protective design.
According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 20,000 eye injuries occur annually in the workplace, many of which are preventable with proper PPE.
Ketten Wälder Debuts cromox CRSV Sling Connectors
Ketten Wälder GmbH has launched its cromox CRSV roundsling connectors, designed for connecting synthetic slings to masterlink assemblies in specialized lifting environments. The new connectors are now stocked in the U. S. to improve access for domestic customers.
Available in three models— CRSV-08( 1.55-ton), CRSV-10( 2.45-ton) and CRSV-13( 3.85-ton)— the connectors accommodate sling widths of 30 millimeters, 40 millimeters and 50 millimeters. Built from stainless steel Grade 60 and AISI Duplex steel, they are suited for demanding environments such as defense manufacturing, cleanrooms and heavy industry.
The design offers higher working load limits at reduced weight compared to lower-grade materials, along with enhanced corrosion resistance.
The connectors were showcased at LiftEx 2025 in Liverpool. In addition to U. S. stock, Ketten Wälder is holding inventory in Germany and the U. K., and shipping directly from headquarters to customers worldwide.
LGH and Caldwell Develop Telescoping Forklift Beam for Material Handling Efficiency
A new forklift beam designed by Caldwell and developed in partnership with LGH aims to improve how long and heavy materials are handled on construction and industrial sites. The Caldwell Telescoping Forklift Beam is now exclusively available through LGH.
The beam enhances forklift versatility by enabling the lifting and placement of long items in areas where cranes are not feasible. The compact design allows for use in confined environments while maintaining a high load capacity.
The unit features a 12- to 20-foot spread range in one-foot increments, a 10,000-pound capacity, a 14.7-inch low headroom profile, dual 5-ton swivel hooks and an optional center hook. Adjustments are made with removable hitch pins and balanced for safety.
