Caterpillar Unveils Next Gen Cat Telehandler Models

Caterpillar Inc. has introduced its nextgeneration Cat telehandlers, designed for both retail and rental customers. The new lineup includes the Cat TH0642, TH0842, TH1055 and TH1255 models, replacing the TL642, TL943, TL1055 and TL1255 machines.
The new models offer three operator station options: an open canopy, an enclosed cab with heat and an enclosed cab with both heat and air conditioning. The redesigned interior features an ergonomic control layout, a tilt steering column and a full-color LCD monitor. Safety enhancements include an operator presence seat switch to prevent unintended operation and an optional load stability indication system that provides visual and audible alerts for forward stability.
Equipped with a pilot-controlled joystick, the telehandlers offer smooth multi-function boom operations. Customers can choose between an information technology coupler for compatibility with various attachments or a standard taper threaded coupler for better fork visibility and load capacity. Standard auxiliary hydraulics support hydraulically powered Cat attachments, enhancing versatility for various applications.
