Skyjack Announces SJ6940 RT Rough Terrain Scissor Lift
Skyjack has announced the launch of the SJ6940 RT, a new addition to its rough terrain scissor lift lineup. The model is the largest compact rough terrain scissor lift currently offered by the company.
The SJ6940 RT has a working height of 46 feet( 14.02 meters) and a platform capacity of 800 pounds( 362.874 kilograms). According to Skyjack, the lift is the tallest machine in its compact rough terrain scissor class. With the roll-out deck extended, the platform measures 14 feet, 10 inches( 4.52 meters), providing what the company describes as the longest working area in the class.
Designed for use on uneven terrain, the SJ6940 RT includes an oscillating front steer axle and auto-leveling outriggers, which are optional on ANSI and CSA models and standard on CE and AS models. The lift is equipped with a four-wheel driveline, wheel motors, torque hubs and an oscillating front axle, delivering a 35 % gradeability rating for mobility on challenging jobsites.
Additional design features include a four-level scissor stack with a single-cylinder design, intended to reduce potential leak points and simplify maintenance. The lift also incorporates Skyjack’ s adaptive drive system. The engine is HVO compatible, and a dual-fuel option is available in
North America.
The SJ6940 RT is available in North America, South America, Europe and Australia.
JLG Launches the ES2632M Micro-Sized Scissor Lift
JLG Industries, Inc. has introduced the ES2632M, a new micro-sized electric scissor lift designed for use in confined and challenging jobsite environments. The launch coincides with the company’ s 50th anniversary of scissor lift manufacturing.
The ES2632M expands JLG’ s existing micro-sized scissor lift lineup, which includes the ES1330M, ES1530M and ES1930M models. The new unit is designed to support indoor and outdoor applications where space constraints and uneven ground conditions are common.
The ES2632M provides a 25-foot, six-inch indoor platform height, a 600-pound platform capacity and a 32-inch overall width, allowing access through narrow spaces without reducing load capacity. The unit features QuikFold rails that fold down to pass through standard doorways, a zero-turning-radius design and a leakcontainment system intended to protect sensitive work surfaces.
JLG has also equipped the ES2632M with onboard technologies, including progressive elevated drive, variable tilt and ClearSky smart fleet, supporting controlled operation and fleet management. An optional integrated mid-rail deck can be added to increase platform height by 19.5 inches.
LGMG North America Debuts New MEWP and Telehandler
LGMG North America( LGMG NA) is introducing two new machines— the SS1932ER micro scissor lift and the H1256 telehandler— as part of its continued focus on rental fleet requirements in the mobile elevating work platform( MEWP) and telehandler markets.
The SS1932ER micro scissor lift is designed for construction, maintenance and installation work in confined indoor spaces and narrow layouts. It offers a maximum platform height of 18 feet, one inch indoors and 14 feet, nine inches outdoors. The machine measures 31.9 inches in overall width and 61 inches in overall length, with a stowed height under six feet, seven inches, allowing it to pass through standard doorways without folding guardrails.
The platform supports up to 500 pounds, accommodating two occupants indoors and one outdoors. A permanent magnet synchronous motor is intended to provide smoother motion and improved efficiency between charges. Paylor says demand for compact scissor lifts continues to grow.
The H1256 telehandler is built for lifting, placement and material handling across construction, infrastructure and industrial jobsites. It delivers a maximum lift capacity of 12,000 pounds, a maximum lift height of 56 feet, one inch and a maximum outreach of 42 feet. Powered by a 120-horsepower Cummins engine, the machine has a travel speed of 15.5 miles per hour. It features three steering modes— four-wheel, crab and front-wheel steer— along with four-wheel drive and Dana limited-slip axles for operation on uneven terrain. LGMG says the telehandler includes a steel engine cover and an ergonomic cab with multiple load chart placements.
